Unique and original oil on canvas, a painting by Salvatore Mangione, called Salvo, signed and titled on the back.

Salvo was part of the Italian Circolo dell'Arte Povera, with an unmistakable style, generated by bright colours.
He is a Master for his evocative and contemplative capacity.
In his pictorial and mental space there is no human presence, as often happens also in the squares of De Chirico, his Master and inspirer.

He also shared, during the 1960s, a studio with Alighiero Boetti and on that occasion the two artists had a mutual influence on their own practices.
