Superb artwork, unique and original, acrylics on canvas by the famous Tano Festa (1938-1988), protagonist of the Roman pop school, which received new dada solutions with formal rigor.
An artist who, among his innumerable exhibitions, has also participated at the Venice Biennale in the 1980.
At the end of 1970s Tano Festa used aniline, in an intense blue, tracing the outline of the face with a white pencil and inserting spots made with acid on the canvas, which interfere with the silhouette of the protagonist.
Between the 70s and 80s, Festa created various series that share the same technical execution details.
In fact, in re-proposing quotations from past works, Festa experimented with a new technique in which the figures are always projected onto the canvas, but are reproduced in a fragmentary way, increasingly losing the link with the original work.
This work is accompanied by two archival certificates and our certificate of authenticity, complete with photo, description, year and dimensions.
