Ancient and rare islamic manuscript scroll on parchment, about 4,5 meters long and written in arabic.
Composed of the genealogical tree of the prophet Muhammad from Adam (Abu-al-Bashar), followed by prophets, saints and sufis, verses from the Koran and prayers.
Dating back to the late 18th century, early 19th century (Ottoman period), it is beautifully gilded and finely lit.
Good general conditions (see the photos, please); various signs of the time; the different parts of the scroll have been attached together.
The protective leather piece that encloses the scroll was probably added later.
Certificate of authenticity is included, with photo, description, age and dimensions.
